The marzipan exhibition gives the best overview of the history of marzipan – about how a medicament initially made in the pharmacy became a sweet. The exhibition features more than 180 marzipan figures, cards and cakes, which have been made with moulds that are more than hundred years old and that are still used in AS Kalev for making marzipan figures. In the museum one can see the art of marzipan painting, an artist who is painting marzipan figures also according to the wishes of the visitors is continuously working in the museum room.
In addition to that, the exposition features information in Estonian, English, German and Finnish about the history of marzipan making in Tallinn. The major part of the exposition is dedicated to Georg Stude who established making of marzipan and marzipan production in AS Kalev. The history is illustrated by photos of old production processes, historical persons, also the most interesting packages from the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.

The guests can buy Kalev’s handmade marzipan figures as well as assorted chocolate candies in the Kalev’s museum room.
